Peek-a-boo

Tonight Eli learned how to play Peek-a-boo and after daddy bought him a new drum, Eli has learned how to make a noise like an Indian. He is picking up on actions and words so fast that it is blowing us away. Enjoy the video:)

Spring is here!

What better way to enjoy the first beautiful weekend of the year by heading to the mountains for much needed get-a-way. Brad took Eli and I to Wears Valley this past weekend where we stayed in a cabin with a great view. Eli was a little under the weather, but such a trooper and I think the fresh air did him some good. We took a little hike Saturday morning and caught up on some much needed rest.

Eli - 13 months

Eli is growing right before our eyes. I have been meaning to update this, but everytime I think about it, something new is happening. He has more teeth, walking (with assistance), learning where his head, belly button and feet are, and he is also learning how to sign. Whew, I cannot keep up!!! Here are a few of our favorite moments with Eli this past month.

One Year Check Up

Today, Eli had his one year check up. Dr. Watkins is very happy to see him so happy and healthy. He is now 29 inches long and weighed in at 21lbs 13oz. He did have to get 4 shots today, which he did not like!!! They wanted to include one more, but told them that we will have to come back for that one...five is way too many.

Brad is spending another week working in Clarksville, TN. Eli and I miss him sooooo much!!! We are going to head that way to see him this weekend, you can't keep the three of us apart very long. We are hoping that this will only last a couple more weeks. Keep you fingers crossed.

In the meantime, we are all doing well. Eli and I enjoyed a walk outside with the puppies tonight...first time in a couple weeks and his new daycare is great!!! So far so good.

Eli's First Birthday Party

Eli's 1st birthday was a hit!!! All his friends were there including Will (and parents), Sam (and parents), Ben and Megan, Nana, Papa, Andy, Lena and Tammy. We had yummy chocolate cake and great times with friends.

Christmas Part 1

Celebrating our First Christmas...two weeks prior. We have alot of family to see and parties to attend, but first, we enjoy a night with just the three of us.

Thanks to Carrie and Steve...we had a wonderful time with family on their beautiful property.

We stayed in Minnesota for eight days and in that time we saw 20 inches of snow fall to the ground...we enjoyed it as much as we could!!!!
