Where did the summer go?
It is September 1...my has time flown by! We have already been living in Minnesota for almost 5 months. That is so hard to believe. We started our summer living in Albertville with Mike and Laura. It was so much fun! It was like having room mates again. Then, on July 3, we made our home in Shakopee. We live in a townhouse community that has a playground just steps away, a walking trail even closer, and biking distance to the library, downtown and many more parks. We are also fortunate to have such wonderful neighbors! Corkey and Sharon are the same age as Brad and I and we all have much in common. We have already taken a weekend camping trip with them and their two girls, and Sharon and I spend our mornings walking, drinking coffee and watching the kids play. It is so wonderful to have such great people next door to us. On Labor Day, we are taking the party to 9-mile park just East of here. I have never been, but this park is known for the hiking and bike trails.
This weekend, we head to Litchfield for Mike and Laura's wedding. I cannot believe it is already here! We are so excited to have a new addition to the Loch family...Laura seems to fit right in. This event is only the start to a very exciting month. We head to the Boundry Waters with Pat and Lauren the middle of the month and soooooo excited to see Jim and Wanda the end of the month. September has to be my favorite month here in Minnesota. The weather is perfect for almost every outdoor activity and the trees begin turning...what a great time to visit!!!!
Sending much love!!!!
