Winter in Minnesota
November and December has brought us plenty of snow, cold weather and more chances to enjoy this snowy landscape. Eli has developed a love for sledding and walking in this winter wonderland we call home.

Where did the summer go?
It is September 1...my has time flown by! We have already been living in Minnesota for almost 5 months. That is so hard to believe. We started our summer living in Albertville with Mike and Laura. It was so much fun! It was like having room mates again. Then, on July 3, we made our home in Shakopee. We live in a townhouse community that has a playground just steps away, a walking trail even closer, and biking distance to the library, downtown and many more parks. We are also fortunate to have such wonderful neighbors! Corkey and Sharon are the same age as Brad and I and we all have much in common. We have already taken a weekend camping trip with them and their two girls, and Sharon and I spend our mornings walking, drinking coffee and watching the kids play. It is so wonderful to have such great people next door to us. On Labor Day, we are taking the party to 9-mile park just East of here. I have never been, but this park is known for the hiking and bike trails.
This weekend, we head to Litchfield for Mike and Laura's wedding. I cannot believe it is already here! We are so excited to have a new addition to the Loch family...Laura seems to fit right in. This event is only the start to a very exciting month. We head to the Boundry Waters with Pat and Lauren the middle of the month and soooooo excited to see Jim and Wanda the end of the month. September has to be my favorite month here in Minnesota. The weather is perfect for almost every outdoor activity and the trees begin turning...what a great time to visit!!!!
Sending much love!!!!

Keeping busy and having fun!
Greetings from Minnesota! Even though I am not working, I still find it difficult to find time to sit down and update this blog. So, to catch you up on the past month, enjoy the pictures below. Activities include a trip to Wisconsin to see some of our closest friends who traveled from Knoxville, a camping trip to Lake Carlos State Park, a day at the beach with friends, a trip to Lake Mille Lacs, and a few from our new home in Shakopee, MN. Things are going so great and we are enjoying Minnesota so very much. Even though we miss our family in TN so very much, we cannot wait for them to come and visit so we can show them our new home and city.
Eli is everywhere these days. He has been on two wheels now for a few weeks and it is so much fun to see him discover his new talent. He is also identifying animals and pictures books and his favorite word and animal is a "fish", he can spot them a mile away. He and his dada have so much in common already.
We are so blessed to be where we are today.
Sending much love!!!!
